R2 is the ew type. with identical look as previous version. but upgraded inside with more stronger RF chip and 2 pcs of CR2032 battery slots for longer battery life. Dimensions of glass touch front panel is the same as the formerly available Sonoff T433, and it comes with almost identical look. It is compatible with Sonoff T1 and TX (WiFi-equipped + RF) smart switches, their design harmonize well. Inside the wall switch case there is a 433MHz RF (radio) remote control. The device is ot for standalone use, pair it wireless with Sonoff T1 (1C / 2C), and TX T1, T2, T3 series (1C, 2C, 3C) switches via radio frequency or an RF gateway such as Sonoff RF Bridge. It's also compatible with Sonoff RF relay switch and Sonoff 4CH Pro relay switch, use it to remote control the relays, and turn ON / OFF any lights or other appliances connected to RF or 4CH Pro relays.
