The Heiman HS2SA-1 smoke detector uses an infrared photoelectric sensor to detect smoke. Powered by a CR123A/CR17335 battery, it offers long life and very low power consumption. When the detected smoke reaches a certain level, the sensor triggers an audible alarm with a volume of about 85 dB at a distance of 3 meters, as well as a light alarm with a rapidly flashing red LED indicator.
